Attendee Acquisition Representative

The primary responsibility of an AAR is to drive event registrations by getting attendees (individual attendees or group of attendees) to participate in our pay to attend events. The Attendee Acquisition Representative will focus on a defined list of accounts/calling universe and be responsible for achieving registration and revenue goals for events based on account assignments. The Attendee Acquisition Reps are responsible for at least 40% of overall attendees per event.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all customer interactions (tasks, calls, emails,etc.) in Salesforce to keep account activity; pipeline and opportunities up to date.
  • Own entire sales process from prospecting through close of sale.
  • Meet or exceed registration and revenue goals to help achieve quarterly and annual company revenue goals.
  • Make expected number of daily calls and daily emails.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports to management.

Member Sales Executive

The Sales Executive is a driven sales professional. The Sales Executive reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. This Sales Executive is an individual contributor that leads all new member selling and member renewal sales across a dedicated named account territory of G 2,000 SAP installed base companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver WIS’s market facing value proposition to a 500-company named account territory of existing members and targeted member prospects. The Sales Executive is an aggressive Type A sales professional looking for a pathway to professional growth and increasing income. The Sales Executive executes an inside model that combines high activity-based prospecting and selling with strong communications and listening skills.

WIS owns and operates the 300,000-member strong SAPinsider end user community that actively makes buying decisions on software and technology solutions to improve their overall business performance and agility. Establish WIS's client facing thought leadership position through quantitative and qualitative research and software vendor market monitoring on end-end SCM including Supply Chain Planning and Scheduling, Supplier Networking, Supply Chain Finance, Supply Chain Risk, Sourcing & Procurement, Manufacturing Planning and Execution, Demand Planning & Forecasting, Logistics and Transportation, Warehousing and 3rd Party outsourcing models.

  • Achieve annual sales and revenue budgets for the SCM marketplace.
  • Manage the SCM research and analysis team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in SCM software including SAP, best of breed software solutions, implementation and integration approaches.
  • Establish SCM related subject matter expertise through quantitative and qualitative Insider research, vendor briefings, publishing, speaking and product/service innovation.
  • Lead the market discussion on Supply Chain adoption of innovative technology including cloudbased delivery models, AI, blockchain, automation, mobility, portals and robotics.
  • Establish a strong network of senior enterprise software, technology and systems integration executives across all SCM named account prospects.
  • Deliver the SCM content agenda for a series of SAPinsider events and roadshows including engaging the speakers to assure content relevance and impact.
  • Lead research across key clients and SAPinsider members to understand their priorities, trends, KPI’s and pain points while compelling writing case studies.
  • Publish quarterly research reports that create an annual publishing agenda, quarterly results webinars and affiliated derivative publishing on key topics that are relevant to the SAPinsider members, SAP and its SCM partners.
  • Publish the weekly SAPinsider SCM newsletter and build a rapidly growing dedicated opt-in readership.
  • Actively support selling to all SCM prospects including event sponsorships, research report and newsletter sponsorships, lead generation programs, roadshows, roundtables, SAPinsider advertising and webinar sponsorships.
  • Conduct research briefings with top ERP/SCM/SI vendors to share industry knowledge establish deep software and technology roadmap awareness and present the voice of the SAPinsider member community.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • MBA or equivalent in education and experience with deep business acumen.
  • Strong commercial experience with proven results at growing revenues.
  • 10+ years of experience in the SCM technology industry, preferably in product marketing, product management, solutions strategy, market research, analyst or consulting role.
  • Understanding of SAP’s SCM software functionality, business requirements, implementation and integration strategies.
  • Exceptional writing and speaking skills.
  • Proven experience in building research and publishing teams focused on the needs of the technology marketing client community.
  • Successful track record of building strong industry relationships within the SCM technology and end user marketplace.
  • Highly developed analytical skills, survey development experience and data savvy.

The Vice President & Research Director enjoys a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus and stock option participation compensation package.
