Research Analyst

The Research Analyst is a hands-on research professional and a member of the SAPinsider Research Leadership Team. The Research Analyst leads all fact-based quantitative and qualitative research and publishing in their respective area of coverage.

SAPinsider leverages the DART™ research methodology to frame all research content. Every report published by SAPinsider is based on both quantitative and qualitative research.

Specific areas of research coverage where SAPinsider is looking to expand its research leadership team are outlined below.

  • Digital Core ERP with a focus on SAP S4/HANA
  • Cloud Deployment, Cloud Platforms & Cloud Architecture
  • Financial Management and the migration to global Cloud Finance

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct annual technology briefings with all key software and solutions providers.
  • Publish eight (8) research reports per year on key research agenda topics.
  • Lead monthly research webinars in your area of technology coverage.
  • Featured speaker at all SAPinsider Events globally on your research.
  • Publish weekly articles to the SAP Experts website.
  • Published a featured article in each edition of the Quarterly SAPinsider Magazine.
  • Blog frequently on current events and industry trends in your research area.

Professional Qualifications
An ideal candidate will possess:

  • BA or equivalent with keen understanding of business, enterprise technology and marketing principles. Strong backgrounds in writing curriculum are preferred.

Compensation
The Research Analyst enjoys a competitive base salary and an annual performance bonus that assures a compelling overall compensation package. Sales Executive

The Sales Executive is a proven quota driven leader. The Sales Executive reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. This Sales Executive is an individual contributor that leads all new logo selling, renewal sales and expansion selling across a dedicated named account territory of software, technology and systems integration companies.

The Sales Executive is a Type-A, can do individual. The Sales Executive executes an inside/out model that combines high activity-based selling with engaging interpersonal consultative skills. The SAPinsider sales model combines research lead consultation and technology advisory with keen awareness of the GTM challenges that face technology providers.

SAPinsider provides ongoing sales and research training to assure that every Sales Executive has the benefits of continuous skills development.


Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Engage the technology CMO’s team at named accounts including key executives within field marketing, event marketing, webinar marketing, product marketing, demand generation, content marketing and market research insights.
  • Develop a named account territory of 75 SAP Partner technology vendors comprised of active client accounts, dormant client accounts and new logo prospects.
  • Position integrated marketing packages with an average deal size of $15K to $250K.
  • Manage an annual sales quota of $1.5 M in bookings.
  • Drive the end to end selling to all prospects and clients positioning integrated marketing program packages built on event sponsorships, research report sponsorships, lead generation programs, advertising and digital marketing services.
  • Participate in research briefings with top ERP/SW/HW/SI vendors to share industry knowledge, establish deep software and technology roadmap awareness and present the WIS value proposition.

Professional Qualifications
An ideal candidate will possess:

  • BA or equivalent with deep understanding of business and marketing principles.
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience  with a strong preference given for selling marketing services, media, events, advertising, digital marketing or research analyst services.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation and speaking skills.
  • Successful track record of high activity and personal drive.
  • Strong experience working within a SFDC environment.

Compensation
The Sales Executive enjoys a competitive base salary and uncapped commission compensation package. OTE is $150,000 per year. In addition, the role participates in all SAPinsider employee benefit programs including healthcare coverage, life insurance, 3 weeks paid vacation plus company paid holidays, spending accounts and 401K plan with 3% company match.

Senior Conference Producer

SAPinsider, is a leading provider of global events for IT and technology professionals using SAP platforms.   We are growing and have an immediate need to hire an experienced Senior Conference Producer who can help lead the content director for our well-established events, build an elite team and take our events to the next level with creative and innovative strategic thinking.  This is a full life-cycle event production role, where you will work on conference agendas starting with topic research and vetting of potential speakers, through on-site execution of a flawless conference.

Reporting to our President of Events based in Boston. The ideal candidate must have a keen interest in learning, attention to detail and can handle multiple events in various stages of production.



Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruits and vets speakers to present best practices on selected topics.  Manages communications and relationship with speakers before, during and after events.
  • Develops and builds “world class” conference agendas, working with our internal research team and speakers to develop session copy based on top topics.
  • Organizes, writes and compiles all content elements for an event landing page.  
  • Collaborates with event logistics team and sales team to incorporate vendor and event experience elements into the agenda.
  • Partners with marketing to help support the marketing of sponsorship opportunities as well as to help promote the events.
  • Manages all session elements leading up to the event, including speaker presentations and loading event app content. 
  • Ensures smooth execution of all event content and provides a high level of customer service on-site. 
  • Perform post-event content analysis and reporting metrics.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in business, marketing, journalism or related discipline along with 5 years of experience working in content production and/or event management preferable in the IT and/or technology industry on a global scale.  
  • SAP knowledge is a huge bonus.
  • Adept at speaker acquisition, conference programming, and coordinating multiple sessions/tracks.
  • Comfortable speaking with senior-level executives and industry experts.
  • Strong research, writing and presentation skills.
  • General knowledge of event management systems and tools required.  Knowledge of Cvent is highly preferred.
  • Experience working within a CRM system such as Salesforce a plus.
  • 30% U.S. and international travel required.
