Account Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to join the talented team that drives the continued success of our world-class business information products. Our market leading learning resources help companies get the most of their SAP ERP investments, and our customers include a majority of the Fortune 500 and Global 1000 companies.

As a member of our sales team, you will use your solid sales experience and proven business development skills to:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within companies that use SAP ERP systems in your assigned territory
  • Manage an existing account base in order to renew and up sell current licenses

Associate Conference Producer

Researcher, analyst, writer and eventually conference producer...these are the key responsibilities and exciting challenges you’ll take on as a junior member of our quality-driven conference production team.

At WIS, “content is king”.  Our passion and relentless dedication to providing quality content to our customers has led to our reputation for best-in-class conferences and the rave reviews we receive from attendees year after year.  

We are seeking an ambitious, highly detail-oriented professional with strong communications skills to assist our conference team in researching technology markets and trends, recruiting expert speakers, developing program agendas, editing content, and producing events that draw rave reviews from attendees and exhibitors alike. As Associate Conference Producer, you will:

  • Investigate the detailed training and educational needs of IT professionals in the markets we serve. To do this, you will conduct telephone interviews, email surveys, and at times meet with our customers.
  • Interview and qualify the speakers who possess the expertise to deliver the detailed technical information that our customers need.
  • Support Conference Producers with a variety of administrative and support tasks associated with meeting event deliverables, deadlines, and budgets on time and with excellence
  • Write session abstracts and other promotional copy for web sites and brochures
  • Additional projects and tasks as assigned.

In this role, no two days will be alike, and you will be called upon to manage projects that require flexibility, extreme attention to detail, and a “whatever it takes” perspective. Some travel is required.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2+ years of solid work experience in any number of roles requiring outstanding writing and communication, research, project management/coordination, journalism or sales skills. High tech experience is a plus.
  • Polished and effective written and presentation skills
  • Proven success delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Superb customer service orientation
  • BA/BS in Journalism, Communications or related field
  • Desire to take their career to the next level

Digital Account Executive

Demand-Generation, Advertising, and Content Marketing Programs

This is not just another sales job. It’s a unique opportunity for a motivated solution sales professional to grow along with our business. Interested? Read on. 

As a Digital Account Executive on our IT media team, you will consult with customers on their marketing and demand-generation needs and drive new business for our online advertising, lead generation, and thought leadership programs. These programs include hosted webinars, content development, native and display advertising, and more. 

You will be responsible for selling into an existing client base segment, as well as aggressively growing and expanding that base with new accounts globally.

 

Important to note:

  • As our product portfolio grows, your opportunities to sell and make money increase
  • High earnings potential — no limit on overall total earnings

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling online media or digital sponsorship programs to large companies. International sales experience a plus.  
  • Tremendous drive to make a serious contribution to the growth of our business.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to “go with the flow” and do whatever it takes to meet the needs of our clients in an entrepreneurial, rapidly growing organization.
  • Willingness and ability to travel — this is primarily an office-based position, but there will be some travel opportunity (typically less than 10%) to go to cool places like Vienna, Paris, Singapore, Sydney, etc.
